Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP).
  • ERP Management: Leverage Acumatica ERP software to streamline accounting functions, manage the general ledger, and ensure proper inventory costing and reconciliation.
  • Manufacturing Financials: Manage cost accounting, inventory management, and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting of manufacturing costs.
  • Internal Controls & Compliance: Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to all financial policies and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Provide strategic financial analysis to senior management, highlighting trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance on accounting procedures and systems.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in accounting and financial processes, and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • MUST HAVE ACUMATICA experience
  • Experience: At least 5 years of accounting/finance experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in Acumatica ERP software, particularly in the areas of financials, cost accounting, and inventory management.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting practices, including cost of goods sold (COGS), bill of materials (BOM), and job costing.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to foster collaboration and drive results.
