Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Permanent Controller/VP of Finance. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities of the company. This includes the design and integration of financial systems, improving financial procedures, and providing strategic financial input to senior management. With your expertise and strategic thinking, you will aid our company in maintaining a financially sustainable model, while also driving our financial planning and strategy.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee, direct, and manage the company's financial operations and functions, including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
3. Design and coordinate a wide variety of accounting and statistical data and reports.
4. Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
5. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
6. Prepare financial forecasts and analyze financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.
7. Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and report variances.
8. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a VP of Finance role or similar senior-level finance or accounting position.
3. Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.
4. Strong knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
5. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
6. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
7. Ability to strategize and solve problems.
8. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
9. Excellent communication and people skills.
10. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
11. CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus.
