Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and systems for key functions, including cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit policies, billing, general ledger, and fixed asset accounting.
Partner with the operations team to create and manage manufacturing accounting and inventory systems.
Play a vital role in the annual budgeting and goal-setting processes, aligning objectives with organizational priorities.
Track and communicate key business performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to support manufacturing and sales teams in line with company goals and objectives.
Oversee transaction processing, including accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, and cash collections.
Manage customer credit policies and ensure timely resolution of invoicing or payment concerns with customers and suppliers.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in job cost tracking using the ERP system, coordinating with relevant personnel to verify data integrity.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support periodic physical inventory processes.
Monitor departmental budgets throughout the year, providing guidance to stakeholders as needed.
Update and manage fixed asset accounting records, including depreciation schedules, within the ERP system.
Administer and maintain the company's document retention program, covering accounting, contracts, HR, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) records.
Support environmental compliance efforts by coordinating with leadership and fostering a proactive compliance culture.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment.
Strong understanding of ERP systems and inventory management processes.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and process improvement.
