We are currently searching for a seasoned, dynamic, and highly-driven Controller to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional with a strong background in accounting and finance, who is looking to make a significant impact on our organization. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in management, with a strong understanding of financials, GAAP, ledger, cash flow, and year-end close. Experience with SAP is considered a plus.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Controller, you will play a pivotal role in our financial management team. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Managing the production of the annual budget and forecasts and reporting any significant budget differences to management.
3. Coordinating the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
4. Managing and monitoring all aspects of cash flow, preparing forecasts, and financial modeling.
5. Leading the year-end close process, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all tasks.
6. Collaborating with external auditors and managing internal controls.
7. Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, and ensuring these are well communicated and adhered to within the organization.
8. Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Controller position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with some experience in a senior management role.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting.
4. Proven experience with ledger and cash flow management, and year-end close processes.
5. Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
6. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
