We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Controller to join our dynamic Finance team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Finance industry and possess a strong skill set in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, General Ledger, Month-end Closing, Quarter-end Close, Year-end Close, Expense Reporting, State Compliance, Annual Budgeting, Real Estate Industry Experience, and Affordable Housing Experience. As a Permanent Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial stability of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets and provide regular financial reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain accurate records.
• Manage the expense reporting process and ensure timely reimbursement to employees.
• Provide financial analysis and support for real estate development projects, including affordable housing initiatives.
• Work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Finance industry.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, General Ledger, Month-end Closing, Quarter-end Close, Year-end Close, Expense Reporting, State Compliance, Annual Budgeting, Real Estate Industry Experience, and Affordable Housing Experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
