Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the CFO and Owner on strategic financial matters, providing insightful information and expectations to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
2. Prepare and present monthly financial statements to stakeholders, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and forecasts.
3. Manage financial operations across entities, ensuring smooth and efficient financial procedures are in place and adhered to.
4. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, providing the company with the necessary financial insights for effective strategic planning.
5. Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee audit processes, ensuring all financial operations adhere to state and federal laws.
6. Supervise all finance personnel.
7. Manage vendor relationships and build effective partnerships.
8. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
9. Ensure all financial operations are in line with company objectives and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
2. Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment.
3. 5+ years of experience in a senior financial managerial position with evidence of increasing responsibility.
4. Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices.
5. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
8. Pays strict attention to detail.
9. Ability to direct and supervise.
10. Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
11. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
12. Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
