We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Controller to join our dynamic team in the engineering industry. As a Permanent Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. The ideal candidate will have experience in the logistics industry and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Manage cash flow and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance
• Experience in the logistics industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
