We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Controller to join our dynamic finance team in the manufacturing industry. As a Permanent Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization. Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

• Manage and oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.

2. Costing and Inventory Management:

• Oversee the costing process, ensuring accurate calculation of product costs and inventory valuation.
• Analyze and report on variances between actual and standard costs.
• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize profitability.

3. Month-End Close:

• Lead the month-end close process, including the review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end activities.

4. Audit and Tax Compliance:

• Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Prepare and review audit schedules and support documentation.
• Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.

5. Technical Accounting:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting standards and regulations, including ASC 606.
• Research and interpret complex accounting issues and provide guidance to management.
• Implement new accounting policies and procedures as required.

Qualifications:

• CPA certification highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of multiple site accounting and costing principles.
• Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Familiarity with month-end close processes and reporting.
• Proficiency in technical accounting and understanding of ASC 606.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
