Core Responsibilities
Requirements
- Close & Financial Reporting
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close across all entities
- Deliver timely, GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Review JEs, reconciliations, and close support; manage close calendar and deadlines
- Technical Accounting & GAAP
- Serve as lead authority on GAAP, accounting policy, and technical matters
- Research and document complex transactions (M&A, equity, intercompany, leases, revenue)
- Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and documentation
- Audit, Tax & External Partners
- Lead all audits and act as primary contact for auditors and tax advisors
- Manage PBC requests, issue resolution, and deliverables
- Coordinate tax compliance (income, sales/use, payroll, etc.)
- Controls, Systems & Process
- Design and maintain strong internal controls and risk mitigation practices
- Own NetSuite and related subledgers; ensure scalable, GAAP-aligned processes
- Partner with FP&A and IT on data integrity, integrations, and process improvements
- Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Lead and develop the accounting team; set expectations and accountability
- Partner with CFO and operational teams on accounting impacts of business initiatives
- Communicate financial outcomes, risks, and issues clearly to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA required
- 7+ years of accounting experience; public accounting strongly preferred
- Strong GAAP and technical accounting expertise
- Proven ownership of close and audit processes
- NetSuite or similar ERP; multi-entity and intercompany experience
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
- Knowledge of tax compliance and reporting
