We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures, and ensuring all financial operations are in compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned financial professional who is adept at strategic planning, budget management, and financial forecasting.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all company accounts and investments, ensuring all financial operations align with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
  • Manage and monitor all aspects of the company's finance and accounting procedures, including invoicing, payroll, bank reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
  • Develop budgets that meet the requirements of company departments.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to strategize on financial matters.
  • Utilize QuickBooks, Excel, and other relevant software for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Implement robust financial systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain internal control policies to ensure compliance and reduce risk.
  • Manage the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasting, providing expertise and guidance.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Proven ability to implement financial procedures and controls.
  • Strong experience in budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems promptly.
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial legislation and compliance.
  • Demonstrable experience with creating financial statements and cash flow management.
  • Proven ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls.
