We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our growing team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and accomplished professional to contribute to our organization's financial health and stability. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's accounting and financial reporting activities. This role requires a high level of financial acumen and a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Controller, your primary duties will include:

1. Overseeing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances.
3. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
4. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
5. Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
6. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
7. Providing leadership to the finance and accounting team, fostering a workplace environment that is conducive to growth, innovation, and high performance.
8. Collaborating with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
9. Coordinating activities of external auditors.
10. Evaluating and managing risk, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of the accounting system and data.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Controller position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required; an MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation is a plus.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, manufacturing industry experience a plus.
4. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including experience with creating financial statements.
5. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
6. Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
8. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
