We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Controller to join our dynamic team in the healthcare industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to bring their expertise in budgeting, forecasting, audit, revenue cycle management, treasury, payroll, and process improvement to a thriving company. With your 10+ years of experience in a similar role, you will play a crucial part in our financial planning and decision-making processes. Your ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data will be instrumental to our success.

Responsibilities:

As the Permanent Controller, your primary responsibilities will be:

1. Oversee all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, Treasury, Financial reporting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
3. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
4. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
5. Manage all aspects of the revenue cycle, from patient registration to the final payment of a balance.
6. Oversee and direct the organization's treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, long-range forecasting, and insurance activities.
7. Manage the payroll function ensuring efficient systems, process and controls.
8. Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
9. Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize the finance department's output and quality of work.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Controller position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA highly desirable.
2. 10+ years of proven experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry.
3. Strong understanding of Healthcare Financial Management including Patient Accounting, Managed Care Contracting, and Revenue Cycle Management.
4. Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, audit, and treasury.
5. Demonstrated experience in payroll management and process improvement.
6. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
7. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
8. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels of the organization.
10. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
