Position Summary
A growing, innovative tech manufacturer is seeking a Controller to lead and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment. The Controller will ensure financial integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency while partnering closely with leadership on business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial operations, including general accounting, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and fixed assets
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Partner with external auditors and support audit and tax compliance activities
Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership, highlighting key trends and opportunities
Identify process improvements and implement best practices across the finance function
Qualifications
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
CPA preferred
Experience & Skills
Proven experience as a Controller, Senior Accountant, or equivalent role in a high-growth environment
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Experience managing month-end/year-end close and financial reporting
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and financial tools
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a small finance team
