We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Controller to join our Accounting and Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company’s financial activities, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in the Accounting and Finance industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all accounting operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results.

2. Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures.

3. Prepare and present financial reports, metrics, and financial statements for executive management.

4. Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report and manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts.

5. Manage job costing and ensure accurate allocation of costs.

6. Leverage your expertise in QuickBooks and Excel to streamline accounting procedures and operations.

7. Develop and manage systems for tracking cash flow, ensuring the company is in a strong and secure financial position.

8. Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

9. Advise on long-term business and financial planning.

10. Review all formal finance, HR, and IT related procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably within the hospitality industry.

3. Profound knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

4. Experience with financial and accounting reporting systems. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is a must.

5. Strong understanding of job costing and experience in managing cash flows.

6. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.

7. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

8. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

9. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

11. Be able to demonstrate attention to details and good-record-keeping.
