Job Details
Responsibilities:
Be able to direct, control, and supervise the activities of the general accounting department, including payroll and accounts payable.
Possess technical and professional accounting skills, the ability to develop financial and other operational systems, and familiarity with data processing and personal computer capabilities and procedures.
Be able to schedule, meet, and maintain daily and monthly routines, assign personnel, and maintain integrity of records.
Oversee activities of the Accounting/Payroll department for accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including but not limited to internal and external monthly financial statements.
Plan and coordinate the development of the annual operating and capital budget, as well as plan, coordinate and prepare for year-end external audit by Public Accounting Firm.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education
* Bachelors’ degree with a major in accounting preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
* Five to seven years of accounting experience is preferred, of which three years should be in a supervisory position.
* Two to three years of directly related experience in the healthcare field or in the public accounting field performing audits is highly desirable.
* Experience in a multi-corporate organization with in-house computer systems is preferred.
