Location: Rockville, MD (Hybrid)
Salary: Starting from ~$170,000/year
Employment Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday

With a legacy dating back to the 1960s, our team offers integrated preclinical testing, assay systems, cGMP manufacturing, and regulatory support for government, pharma, biotech, and academic clients.

Role Overview
As Controller, you will lead and own the financial operations of our Rockville-based facility. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll drive all accounting activities—from month-end close and financial reporting to internal controls and audit readiness—supporting strategic decisions that fuel growth and innovation

Key Responsibilities
Manage GL, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, tax, and revenue recognition

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes; prepare P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
RRG

Maintain and optimize ERP systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, NetSuite)

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes

Implement and monitor internal controls and process improvements

Ensure GAAP compliance and prepare for external audits

Provide financial insight to support operational and strategic planning

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)

7+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a Controller or Senior Accounting role

Experience with ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint, NetSuite, or similar

Strong expertise in US GAAP, internal controls, audit readiness, and revenue recognition

Exceptional Excel skills and advanced financial analysis capabilities

Excellent communicator with proven leadership of accounting teams in regulated/biotech environments
