Responsibilities:

Oversight of all financial operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
Collaborate in the development of budgets and financial forecasts based on company performance.
Efficiently source and manage vendors and technology to optimize accounting processes.
Execute end-to-end accounting processes such as month-end accruals, GL reconciliation, journal entries, invoicing, and account reconciliation for monthly and annual closing.
Handle 1099 processing, year-end procedures, travel and expense reimbursement, and enforce internal controls and tax regulations.
Analyze accounting information to detect and rectify inaccuracies or imbalances, maintaining accurate records within the accounting system.
Prepare financial statements and oversee budgeting and forecasting to facilitate decision-making.
Timely publication of monthly financial statements and coordination of regulatory reporting.
Research and address technical accounting issues to ensure compliance and maintain quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
