Job Details

Job Summary: The Division Controller will oversee the financial operations of multiple companies within our organization, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role involves managing accounting practices, budgeting, financial analysis, and compliance, aligning financial strategies with the overall goals of the company.



Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the monthly close process and ensure the timely preparation of accurate periodic financial statements.

· Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP.

· Generate and distribute financial statements to management personnel.

· Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, budget variance reports, and forecasts.

· Design and implement effective internal controls over financial reporting.

· Facilitate timely reviews with external auditors and providing tax return prep support.

· Supervise and direct the work of accounting staff.

· Oversee accounting practices, budgeting, financial analysis, and compliance within the division.

· Align financial strategies with the overall goals of the company.

· Participate as a team member for an ERP upgrade project.

· Assist in Treasury Functions.



Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· CPA designation or MBA preferred.

· At least eight years of experience in accounting and finance.

· Strong accounting and financial analysis skills.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Supervisory experience is required.



Skills:

· Proficiency in large scale ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy.
