Job Details
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all financial operations of the organization.
Develop and maintain annual financial plans and forecasts.
Establish departmental budgets aligned with organizational goals.
Analyze financial risks and benefits of business initiatives.
Allocate resources for capital projects and collaborate with executive leadership to ensure financial discipline.
Design and implement financial policies and procedures.
Prepare and interpret financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Mentor, train, and evaluate the accounting and finance team.
Conduct regular financial assessments and present findings to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Requirements:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in financial management.
Minimum of 5 years in a Controller role.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in project-based accounting software.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work flexible hours as needed.
Expertise in budgeting and financial reporting.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Adaptability and a proactive approach to evolving priorities.
Experience mentoring and developing team members.
Familiarity with high-volume inventory management.
