Duties and Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Work side by side with General Ledger and Human Resource Manager.
- Work with all team members/employees helping to insure a positive environment.
- Responsible for enhancing revenue and profit margins of operations and sales.
- Overall responsibility of company operations, including internal workflow/paperwork, coordination of contracts with new and existing distributors.
- Generate Sales Analysis and/or other analysis when requested by upper management.
- Write letters when necessary to Distributors regarding sales performance and any other issues.
- Coordination of all tax filings and payments for all entities with outside accounting firm.
- Ensure protection of all assets including customer lists, formulations and other highly confidential property of the business entities.
- Coordinate vacation time with Human Resources, to minimize business disruption.
- Help to ensure orders from the distribution network are being filled on a timely basis.
- Coordination of legal matters with counsel, insurance companies, working with upper management.
- Liaison between distribution network and executive management.
- Manage the financial status of the business entities, including revenue, gross profit margins and overhead.
- Oversight of employees of all business entities.
- Hold weekly production meetings to ensure adequate inventories are maintained while not holding excessive inventories. Also, to insure we can deliver all products when orders are received from the distribution network.
- Hold weekly meetings with Chemist and Plant Manger to monitor projects, which include the filling out and filing of necessary forms with related government entities.
- Ensure all necessary company meetings like, Safety, CPR, Sexual Harassment and the like are scheduled and held when required.
- Develop and maintain business relationships with the distribution network and new customers.
- Work with and oversee raw material purchases for the production of the product line, with the Plant Manager.
- Work with and oversee outside packagers.
- Ensure overall procedures are being implemented in companies to maintain the highest level of safety.
- Attend trade shows on behalf of the company.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field
- CPA or MBA recommended
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Good leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
