Job Details

Controller
Reports to: President / CEO
Compensation: $90,000–$110,000 annually
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:30am–5:30pm | Friday 7:30am–11:30am

Position Overview
The Controller is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting, human resources, and IT functions. This individual will manage day‑to‑day financial operations while providing strategic insight to leadership. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, collaborative leader with strong communication skills and a proven ability to work independently while maintaining robust internal controls.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Controls

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, and month‑end close
Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to minimize risk
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and year‑end reporting processes
Partner with external auditors and provide requested documentation
Deliver financial analysis related to capital investments, pricing, and contract negotiations

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and develop teams across Accounting, Human Resources, and IT
Conduct annual performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
Address performance or disciplinary matters as needed in a professional, constructive manner


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years of combined accounting and leadership experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
Demonstrated history of improving financial performance and processes
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
