• Position Overview:

The Controller will work closely with the executive team to provide critical financial insights and support key strategic initiatives. This role involves overseeing the accounting department, ensuring efficient and compliant financial operations, and contributing significantly to the company's financial strategy and growth.

• Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior management to offer financial insights for decision-making.
Develop and present financial reports and analyses.
Lead and oversee accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial processes.
Manage cash flow, maintain vendor relationships for timely payments, and oversee the accuracy of accounts payable/receivable.
Evaluate and approve credit extensions to customers.
Contribute to business expansion strategies.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end closings.
Maintain compliance with all tax regulations and manage tax-related duties.

• Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (an MBA or CPA is an advantage).
3-8 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably with construction accounting knowledge (Percentage of Completion method).
Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and ERP systems (experience with Sage beneficial).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
Skilled in market trend analysis and interpretation.
