We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Controller to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage the company's financial reporting and analysis, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, including the preparation of budgets and financial projections.
• Manage the company's cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
• Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Manage the company's relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information and safeguard company assets.
• Monitor and analyze industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.
• Experience with financial analysis and modeling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with development projects is a plus.
