We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Controller to join our finance team. As a key member of our company's leadership team, the Permanent Controller will be responsible for the overall management and direction of our financial operations. This includes overseeing all aspects of our accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and managing our relationships with banks and other financial institutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, a deep understanding of the cash conversion cycle, and experience in managing payroll and preparing 1099 and W2 forms.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of the financial reporting and accounting processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other relevant regulations.
2. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
3. Manage the company's cash flow, ensuring optimal cash management and a healthy cash conversion cycle.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions, negotiating terms and conditions as necessary.
5. Oversee the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment to all employees.
6. Prepare and file 1099 and W2 forms, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
7. Manage and respond to "314(a)" requests and other regulatory inquiries.
8. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives.
9. Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An advanced degree or CPA designation is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the finance industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and the cash conversion cycle.
4. Experience in managing payroll and preparing 1099 and W2 forms.
5. Strong understanding of "314(a)" regulations and other relevant financial regulations.
6. Proven experience in managing relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
7. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
8. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire others.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
10. Proficiency in using financial management software and other relevant computer applications.
