Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Support the preparation of timely and accurate monthly financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) in accordance with GAAP
Prepare journal entries related to income statement, balance sheet, and expense accounts
Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts on a monthly basis
Serve as backup support for payroll and accounts payable functions
Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies and external regulatory standards
Assist with monthly sales tax filings and reporting
Coordinate and provide support for annual external audits
Review and approve employee expense reports
Participate in annual inventory reconciliation and related activities
Provide financial analysis to support capital planning, pricing, and contract evaluation
Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving efficiency and reducing costs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (CPA a plus)
Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or corporate finance
Strong grasp of GAAP and general ledger fundamentals
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Clear and effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level)
Professional demeanor and commitment to high standards of work
