Job Details

The Controller will oversee high-level and managerial accounting functions, guide financial planning and analysis, and lead the accounting team. This individual will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization—from executive leadership to team members at all levels—to maintain a strong financial foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all core accounting functions, including cost analysis and payables.

Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.

Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and corporate invoicing.

Direct the preparation of internal and external financial reports and ensure timely filings with regulatory bodies and financial institutions.

Maintain general ledger (GL) integrity and oversee monthly financial close processes, including narrative and analysis.

Ensure compliance with tax obligations including sales tax and selected state/federal filings for affiliated entities.

Collaborate with external firms on annual reviews, audits, and insurance evaluations.

Supervise and support system upgrades and financial systems implementations.

Define and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance standards.

Recruit, train, and retain top accounting and finance talent.

Perform other duties as required in support of the finance function.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and financial best practices.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Controller or Accounting Manager role.

Proven ability to lead a finance team and work cross-functionally.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
