Responsibilities:
As our Permanent Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing our company's financial activities. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the production of periodic financial reports, ensuring that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
2. Managing the preparation and publication of departmental and organizational financial documents.
3. Collaborating with management on the development and execution of funding strategies.
4. Examine and analyze the company's financial details to ensure accuracy. This includes balance sheets, direct and indirect cash flows, and income statements.
5. Conducting the year-end close process, ensuring all financials are accurate and up to date.
6. Preparing the annual budget in collaboration with the executive team and finance department.
7. Maintaining a comprehensive system of controls over accounting transactions.
8. Managing the ledger and ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
9. Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this Permanent Controller position will have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
3. Proven experience in managing the financials of a company, including the preparation of an annual budget and financial statements.
4. Expert knowledge in the use of accounting software and databases.
5. Proficiency in managing ledger entries and year-end close processes.
6. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Strong analytical skills and experience in creating reports and presentations.
9. High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
