Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Controls Engineer (BAS), your main responsibilities will include:
1. Designing and implementing control systems that improve construction operations and production efficiency.
2. Developing and executing projects to improve process control and instrumentation.
3. Programming and configuring the Building Automation Systems (BAS) to meet the project requirements.
4. Collaborating with project teams to understand and integrate control requirements.
5. Ensuring all control systems and strategies comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
6. Troubleshooting and resolving control system issues in a timely manner.
7. Providing technical support and training to team members and clients.
8. Participating in project planning and providing expert input in relation to control systems.
9. Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in control engineering.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the role of Permanent Controls Engineer (BAS) should have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Controls Engineer in the building automation industry.
3. Proven experience programming BAS systems.
4. Niagara N4 certification would be a plus.
5. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work in a team and independently when required.
