Job Details

What You’ll Do:

Lead Projects: Take ownership of complex automation and electrical control projects—driving design, development, and implementation of advanced equipment systems.
Innovate: Use Rockwell Automation, AutoCAD, and other modern engineering tools to bring machines and systems to life.
Deliver Results: Ensure smooth project handoffs, including training plant personnel, providing documentation, and making sure systems are fully operational.
Lead & Mentor: Guide and develop technicians, contractors, and junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Ensure Excellence: Drive compliance with all safety, legal, and regulatory standards while delivering efficient, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
Improve Continuously: Champion process improvement initiatives to optimize engineering performance and support long-term innovation.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong technical skills with electrical and controls engineering tools (Rockwell Automation suites, AutoCAD, etc.)
Proven ability to manage projects and lead cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), or ability to earn within 18 months
Ability to travel up to 25%
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
Prior experience in machine controls engineering, preferably within the food or high-volume manufacturing industry
Expertise in HMI development, PLC/PAC programming, motion control, and machine vision
Experience managing direct reports and/or leading engineering teams
