We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems that ensure our production processes run efficiently and effectively. The role requires an individual with a strong background in controls, PLC, Allen Bradley, electrical design, AutoCAD Electrical, Factory Talk, advanced PLC ladder logic, and HMI programming.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement control systems that ensure our production processes run efficiently and effectively
• Design and develop electrical schematics, control panels, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical
• Develop and maintain PLC programs using Allen Bradley software
• Design and develop HMI applications using Factory Talk software
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices
• Work collaboratively with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems with other production processes
• Provide training and support to production teams on the use and maintenance of control systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in controls engineering
• Strong knowledge and experience with PLC programming using Allen Bradley software
• Experience with HMI programming using Factory Talk software
• Experience with electrical design using AutoCAD Electrical
• Strong understanding of advanced PLC ladder logic
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and equipment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other engineering teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
