Compensation: $110k-$130k/year (depending on experience)

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, and implement PLC-based control systems to improve automation and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain HMI interfaces for process monitoring and control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into production systems.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades on existing automation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and best practices.
  • Assist in commissioning new equipment and optimizing existing processes.
  • Provide technical support and training for maintenance and operations teams.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) and HMI development.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
  • Understanding of electrical systems, including wiring (120/240/480V).
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for industrial automation.
  • Preferred: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, Professional Engineer (PE) license, and project management experience.
