Job Details

This role supports conveyor, robotics, and automation integration projects for a variety of industrial customers, from initial concept through installation and post-launch support. You’ll be hands-on in designing, programming, and commissioning control systems while partnering with internal teams and customers throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and program PLC-based control systems and supporting software
  • Design electrical panels, schematics, and system layouts
  • Support system integration, startup, and commissioning at customer sites
  • Assist with sales, quoting, and technical concept development
  • Train customers and provide ongoing technical support
  • Manage smaller project scopes and contribute to larger automation initiatives

What You Bring:
  • Strong PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley required; others a plus)
  • Background in controls, electrical design, and system integration
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA, motion control, and fieldbus technologies
  • Exposure to robotics (Fanuc, UR, etc.) and industrial automation systems
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, UL, and relevant electrical standards
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability
  • Engineering degree preferred; electrical license a plus
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Willingness to travel ~25–40%
