Job Details
zWe are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer with experience in PLC programming and industrial automation. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement control systems for automated machinery and processes, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, program, and maintain PLC-based control systems for industrial automation projects.
Troubleshoot, test, and commission control systems on-site and remotely.
Collaborate with project engineers, mechanical engineers, and technicians to integrate control solutions with mechanical and electrical systems.
Prepare and maintain documentation including control schematics, ladder logic programs, and operational manuals.
Participate in system design reviews and provide input on control strategies and automation solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of industrial control systems, HMI programming, and SCADA integration.
Experience with electrical schematics, motor controls, and field devices (sensors, actuators, drives).
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with robotics, motion control, or industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, Modbus).
Familiarity with continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing principles.
