We are seeking a talented and experienced Permanent Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supervising all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. You will be part of a team that is instrumental in ensuring the highest levels of safety, efficiency, and reliability in our operations. This position requires a deep understanding of various control systems and automation tools, including low voltage hardware, control panels, Allen-Bradley, boilers, furnaces, ovens, kilns, and combustion systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop control systems and automation solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering operations.
2. Implement and maintain Allen-Bradley PLCs, control panels, and low voltage hardware.
3. Supervise the installation, operation, and maintenance of boilers, furnaces, ovens, kilns, and combustion systems.
4. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance of control systems and automation tools.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and develop appropriate control solutions.
6. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and automation tools.
8. Provide technical support and training to other team members.
9. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in control systems and automation technology.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controls Engineer or a similar role in the engineering industry.
3. Hands-on Control Systems Development for Combustion Solutions (Boilers, Furnaces, Ovens, Kilns, etc.)
4. Strong knowledge of automation and control system theory.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.
6. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
8. A strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
9. Proficiency in using computer software and applications related to control systems and automation.
10. The ability to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in control systems and automation technology.
