Job Details
We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer with expertise in PLC programming to join our dynamic team. As a Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems that drive the efficiency and performance of our operations.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement PLC-based control systems for capital equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of control systems into overall project designs.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms to meet project requirements.
Develop HMI (Human-Machine Interface) applications for visualization and control of industrial processes.
Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Provide technical support and assistance to production teams during system commissioning and startup phases.
Document system designs, programming logic, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in PLC programming and automation.
Design and Build Panels and wire them
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in PLC programming, preferably with platforms such as Allen-Bradley (RSLogix), Siemens (TIA Portal), or similar.
Strong understanding of industrial control systems, including sensors, actuators, motor controls, and communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
Proficiency in HMI development using software tools such as FactoryTalk View, WinCC, or similar.
Hands-on experience with industrial automation equipment and systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
