Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement control systems to optimize our operations and ensure safety and efficiency.
2. Perform routine checks and maintenance on electrical systems to ensure their optimal functioning.
3. Program PLC controls and HMIs as per project requirements.
4. Design and manage power distribution systems, ensuring their functionality and safety.
5. Install and maintain switchgear, power factor correction equipment, and substations.
6. Troubleshoot and repair system failures, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
7. Collaborate with other team members to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in controls programming.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
10. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in controls programming, with a focus on electrical maintenance, PLC controls, and HMIs.
3. Proficiency in power distribution systems, switchgear, power factor correction equipment, and substations.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
5. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the engineering industry.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail.
8. Strong computer skills, with proficiency in relevant software and programming languages.
9. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
10. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
