Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and sustainability? We’re looking for a BAS Controls Specialist to configure, set up, and test building control systems in commercial buildings in the Gulf Coast region. Your work will play a crucial role in optimizing energy usage, improving system performance, and driving sustainability initiatives.

- Configure and program building automation systems (BAS) to optimize HVAC, lighting, and energy management.
- Test and commission control systems, ensuring proper functionality and seamless integration with mechanical and electrical components.
- Analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field technicians to deliver high-quality control solutions.
- Develop and implement control sequences to align with project specifications and energy efficiency goals.
- Document system configurations and test results, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, continuously improving your expertise in automation, networking, and energy management.
- Gain proficiency in pneumatic, electronic, and computerized control systems, including lighting and energy management solutions.
- Develop and Implement Software Solutions – Write and execute control logic that aligns with project scopes, specifications, and functional requirements.
- Ensure System Performance and Quality – Conduct thorough system testing, document results, and resolve issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Requirements:
- Experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or related systems (BAS/DDC programming knowledge is a plus).
- Strong technical skills, including familiarity with control software, networking, and mechanical system integration.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems: Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Honeywell, or others
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and work independently in a dynamic environment.
