We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Technician for our 2nd shift who has a solid background in electrical troubleshooting, equipment calibration, industrial control systems, and logic circuits. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a team of professionals dedicated to maintaining and improving our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
As a Controls Technician, you will be a key player in our manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
2. Calibrating equipment in accordance with established procedures and schedules.
3. Implementing and maintaining industrial control systems, including PLCs and HMI.
4. Designing and programming automation systems to improve manufacturing processes and increase productivity.
5. Interpreting and creating logic circuits to support manufacturing operations.
6. Collaborating with other technicians, engineers, and management to resolve complex issues and improve system performance.
7. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and implementing new technologies to enhance our manufacturing capabilities.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you need to have a strong understanding of electrical systems and industrial controls. The ideal candidate will possess:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controls Technician in the food manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and equipment calibration.
3. Extensive knowledge of industrial control systems and automation.
4. Experience in designing and interpreting logic circuits.
5. A degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Willingness to work the 2nd shift and overtime as needed.
