As a Permanent Corporate Associate Attorney, you will be a pivotal part of our dynamic team, working with high net-worth clients and handling complex tax and estate planning issues. This role offers an exciting opportunity to delve into the intricacies of corporate, tax, commercial, and M&A law, while honing your skills in succession planning and transfer tax planning. This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

1. Provide astute legal advice on a variety of corporate, tax, and trust & estate matters to high net-worth clients.
2. Assist with the structuring of M&A transactions and provide legal guidance on complex commercial matters.
3. Develop and implement effective succession planning strategies to ensure smooth transitions for our clients.
4. Conduct diligent research and analysis on tax laws and regulations to ensure our clients are in compliance while maximizing their financial benefits.
5. Draft and review legal documents including wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
6. Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and tax filing for our clients.
7. Stay updated on the latest legal developments to provide up-to-date advice and guidance to our clients.

Qualifications


2. Hold an LLM in Taxation or a related field. (preferred, not required)
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate attorney, with a focus on tax, trust, and estate law.
4. Proven experience in dealing with high net-worth clients and handling complex legal issues.
5. Strong knowledge of M&A, succession planning, and transfer tax planning.
6. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
7. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
10. Admission to the state bar.
