We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Permanent Corporate Associate to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in providing comprehensive legal advice to our corporate clients. You will be involved in a wide range of corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, compliance, and other complex business transactions. Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support to our corporate clients on a wide range of corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents including contracts, agreements, and corporate policies.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and provide strategic legal advice.
  • Coordinate with external counsel on complex legal matters and litigation.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Participate in the due diligence process for corporate transactions.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members on corporate legal matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in corporate law and regulations and advise clients accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law, preferably within a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Membership in good standing with a state bar.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, legal research, contract negotiation, and legal documents.
  • Excellent legal writing skills, with the ability to draft and review complex legal documents.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the company's interests effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
