A growing consumer packaged goods company is seeking an experienced attorney to provide temporary in-house legal support to its General Counsel on a 3-month contract basis beginning in Q4.

The Role
This is a hands-on contract opportunity for a corporate attorney comfortable stepping into a fast-paced, in-house environment and hitting the ground running. You will work closely with the General Counsel, providing broad legal support across the business.

Responsibilities may include:

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
Supporting corporate governance and compliance matters
Advising on general business transactions and operational legal needs
Assisting with any ad hoc legal matters arising during the contract period

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in good standing
Prior in-house or law firm experience with a corporate/commercial focus
Ability to manage multiple matters independently with minimal supervision
Strong drafting and communication skills
Experience in the food, beverage, or consumer products industry a plus but not required
