- JD from an accredited, high caliber law school.
- 5-7 years of experience as a corporate attorney with a focus on financings, M&A, and counseling startups and emerging growth companies.
- Strong academic and professional credentials.
- Commitment to responsiveness and client service.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and also work independently and pro-actively without micromanagement.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professional integrity.
Job Over View:
- Assist with (or lead) M&A transactions and venture financings, including due diligence, negotiation, drafting, and drafting and editing transaction documents.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on corporate governance, compliance, and general corporate matters.
- Work as a key member of the team, with the goal of delivering high-quality, responsive, and efficient legal services to clients.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members and paralegals and delegate tasks effectively to the team.
- Prepare pro formas and waterfalls for financing and exit transactions and discuss these models with our clients.
