Corporate Law Attorney

Responsibilities:

• Providing expert legal advice to the company on a variety of corporate legal issues.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
• Advising on corporate governance and compliance matters, including potential risks and liabilities.
• Managing corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, and coordinating with external legal counsel as required.
• Representing the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.
• Keeping abreast of changes in laws that affect the company, and providing updates and recommendations to senior management.
• Providing training to the company on legal topics.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law, business law, contract law, or a related field.
• Admission to the Minnesota state bar.
• Proven experience as a legal counsel in a business environment.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
• High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex legal projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
