Our esteemed law firm is actively seeking a seasoned Corporate Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional with a proven track record in the legal industry to take on an essential role in our firm. Your primary focus will be to provide comprehensive legal support on a broad range of corporate litigation matters. With your expertise in drafting correspondence, calendaring, discovery, interrogatories, and requests for production of documents (RPDs and RPFs), you will be instrumental in our team's success. Your knowledge in probate litigation, eminent domain, real estate, and real estate litigation will be highly valued and utilized.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Corporate Litigation Paralegal, you will be required to:
1. Provide comprehensive paralegal support to our team of attorneys in all aspects of corporate litigation.
2. Draft, review, and manage legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
3. Manage case calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings.
4. Conduct extensive legal research and gather relevant information for case preparation.
5. Assist in preparing interrogatories and requests for production of documents (RPDs and RPFs).
6. Utilize your expertise in probate litigation, eminent domain, real estate, and real estate litigation to support various cases.
7. Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and other law firms professionally and effectively.
8. Assist in trial preparation, including assembling exhibits, witness preparation, and trial logistics.
9. Maintain and update case files, databases, and systems to ensure accuracy and confidentiality of information.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Corporate Litigation Paralegal position should possess the following qualifications:
1. An associate’s degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field, or Paralegal Certificate.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in litigation with Probate, Eminent Domain, Real Estate, and Corporate Litigation experience preferred.
3. Proficient in drafting correspondence, calendaring, discovery, interrogatories, and request for production of documents (RPDs and RPFs).
4. Ability to conduct independent legal research.
5. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong research and analytical skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
9. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
