We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to work closely with our corporate and legal teams on a variety of complex transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private equity and a passion for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. With a focus on delivering high-quality work and providing exceptional support to our team, this role is integral to our company's success.
Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Paralegal, you will:
1. Assist in the preparation of legal documents and reports integral to private equity transactions, including fund formation, investments, and exits.
2. Conduct due diligence reviews and assist in the management of deal execution processes.
3. Liaise with external counsel, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective transaction completion.
4. Manage and maintain corporate records, including minute books, corporate filings and other legal documents.
5. Coordinate with internal teams in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual reports.
6. Provide legal support to the corporate team on various corporate governance and compliance matters.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures to ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal, preferably with private equity experience
3. Exceptional knowledge of corporate law and private equity transactions.
4. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management.
7. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Certified Paralegal or equivalent certification is preferred.
