We are a leading company in the manufacturing industry seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in a wide range of corporate and legal affairs within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product liability, liability claims, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and a deep understanding of corporate and contract law.
Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Paralegal, you will be:
1. Assisting in the management and organization of the company’s legal matters, including corporate governance, compliance issues, and legal research.
2. Handling product liability claims and product liability issues.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and revising a wide variety of legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
4. Coordinating with outside counsel on various legal matters.
5. Assisting with the management and protection of the company's intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
6. Maintain and organize corporate records and legal docs, including meeting minutes, resolutions.
7. Keeping abreast of changes in manufacturing laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
8. Providing general administrative support to the legal department.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
1. A paralegal certificate or an associate degree.
2. A minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Experience with product liability, liability claims, and direct-to-consumer product liability claims.
4. Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
5. A solid understanding of corporate law, contract law, and manufacturing laws and regulations.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
