Requirements:
- Oversee and manage crews within the converting department to ensure adherence to safety procedures, achieve production goals efficiently, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Conduct structured meetings with crews to address safety, production, quality, and housekeeping concerns, promoting a professional attitude at all times.
- Collaborate with other departments such as corrugator and shipping to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Troubleshoot production quality issues and demonstrate a good working knowledge of converting machinery and automated systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation, communicate shift summaries, and promptly report any major incidents or mechanical breakdowns to the appropriate individuals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisor experience in the corrugated industry.
- Proficiency in operating flexo printers and/or die cutters, with knowledge of specialty folder gluers and laminators being a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety policies, regulations, and high-quality standards within the converting process.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication (written and verbal), and proficiency in computer systems and automation used in the industry.
