Cost Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, and manufacturing methods to assess effects on costs, efficiency, and rates.
• Coordinate with the Engineering Department on Prototypes, First Articles, and Engineering Change Notices.
• Assist with issuing and updating bills of materials in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and generate reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Prepare detailed inventory analyses and aging reports to identify net realizable values.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in Cost Accounting in an ERP environment.
• 2 years of experience in processing large amounts of data in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional spoken and written communication skills.
• 5 years of experience in Cost Accounting in an ERP environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
