Job Details
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Collect and analyze data about a company's operational costs Develop and analyze standard costs of manufactured goods
· Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, overhead, etc.
· Prepare actual vs. budget variance analyses (related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and expense information) Prepare monthly adjusting and
recurring journal entries
· Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
· Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
· Assist in managing and maintaining documentation related to systems and processes for the general ledger, closing activities, and the
implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures
· Evaluate systems and procedures for process improvements
· Other duties as may be assigned
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and processes
· Understanding of organizational accounting concepts and manufacturing
· Technical accounting skills Proficiency in relevant accounting software preferred (Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Systems) Minimum 2 years of relevant
experience required
