Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will monitor production costs, analyze profitability, and provide actionable insights to optimize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, including material, labor, and overhead.
Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.
Monitor variances and recommend corrective actions to improve cost efficiency.
Prepare cost estimates for new and existing products.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory management and production processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
